Cloud landing zones
Account and subscription organization, foundational controls, and reusable environment patterns.
Cloud infrastructure becomes difficult to manage when accounts, networks, permissions, and environments are created independently as new requirements appear. We design and improve cloud foundations on AWS and GCP, establishing the technical boundaries and reusable infrastructure your engineers need to build and operate services reliably.
The problem
Resources are easy to create. A foundation the next environment can inherit is not.
Account boundaries
As found
One account
Broad admin roles reach everything
01
Production workloads, experiments, and shared tooling exist without deliberate isolation.
02
Human and machine identities have broad or outdated permissions that are difficult to review.
03
Staging, development, and production were created separately and no longer behave consistently.
04
Backups may exist, but restoring a critical system is not a practiced procedure.
What changes
Accounts, subscriptions, networks, and access boundaries reflect the responsibilities of the systems inside them.

Inherited baseline: logging, encryption, guardrails
Deploy role scoped to production
New environments inherit a defined baseline instead of requiring manual reconstruction.
Security, monitoring, backup, and recovery are part of the infrastructure design.
Account and subscription organization, foundational controls, and reusable environment patterns.
Private networking, connectivity, ingress, egress, routing, and network isolation.
Human access, workload identity, CI/CD identity, roles, and permissions.
Development, staging, production, and shared services with intentional boundaries.
Logging, encryption, secrets, network exposure, and baseline controls.
Recovery requirements, backup architecture, and practical restoration testing.
How the work runs
01
Identify accounts, networks, identities, infrastructure dependencies, and undocumented resources.
02
Agree on isolation, access, networking, and responsibilities for shared infrastructure.
03
Apply reusable infrastructure code and automate the controls that should remain consistent.
04
Test relevant access paths, deployment processes, and recovery procedures.
Used when they fit the system you already run. Not as a checklist.

Not necessarily. A new foundation can be appropriate when existing boundaries are fundamentally unsuitable. Often, improving what you already have is less disruptive and achieves the same objective.
Yes. We work on AWS and Google Cloud and adapt the design to the services and operating model your team uses.
Only when there is a clear business or technical requirement. Multiple cloud providers introduce additional networking, identity, deployment, and operational complexity.
No. We design and implement cloud infrastructure in your accounts. We can provide ongoing engineering support, but we do not operate as a traditional managed service provider.
Infrastructure code should make changes safer, not make every apply a high-risk event. We improve Terraform repositories, modules, state management, automated validation, and deployment workflows.
Cloud spending needs context before it can be controlled. We identify waste, investigate costly architecture decisions, improve cost allocation, and help engineering teams manage infrastructure spending without relying on arbitrary savings targets.
Developers should not need to understand the entire infrastructure stack to ship a service. We create supported development and deployment workflows, reusable templates, and self-service capabilities that reduce dependence on a handful of infrastructure specialists.
A production cluster needs more than a working deployment. We help with cluster design, upgrades, workload configuration, networking, security, and operations. We also evaluate whether Kubernetes is still the right choice.
Platform assessment
Our Platform & DevOps Assessment examines the infrastructure, delivery process, operational risks, and cloud costs you already have. You receive prioritized findings and a practical 90-day roadmap, including what to fix first, what can wait, and what should be left alone.
