Platform architecture
Responsibilities, interfaces, and boundaries between platform engineers and product teams.
When every service needs custom infrastructure and a platform engineer to reach production, adding more engineers will not solve the delivery bottleneck. We build internal developer platforms around the workflows your teams actually use: creating services, provisioning environments, deploying applications, and operating production. The result is a supported path your engineers understand and can extend.
The problem
Every new repository introduces another way to deploy, configure, and reach production.

01
Services have different pipelines, configuration conventions, and infrastructure dependencies. Every new repository introduces another variation.
02
The same senior engineers handle infrastructure, production incidents, and feature delivery. Improvements never get sustained attention.
03
Developers can request an environment, secret, or resource, but cannot complete routine work without another team intervening.
04
A few people understand which processes are safe and which exceptions matter. Everything slows down when they are unavailable.
What changes
Templates establish the expected delivery, configuration, runtime, and observability setup.

Self-service, inside permissions
Exceptions go to the platform team
production
Engineers can complete routine tasks within defined permissions and technical guardrails.
Your team understands how to maintain it, extend it, and handle exceptions.
Responsibilities, interfaces, and boundaries between platform engineers and product teams.
Repeatable setup for applications, CI/CD, infrastructure, deployment, and telemetry.
Consistent development, preview, staging, and production environments where appropriate.
APIs, reusable modules, and automation for common developer operations.
Measure and reduce the steps, delays, and dependencies between writing code and running it.
Documentation, technical decisions, and operating practices that allow your team to maintain the platform.
How the work runs
01
Trace how a service moves from development to production, including manual work and approvals.
02
Choose the smallest set of conventions and interfaces that removes meaningful friction.
03
Build and validate the templates, modules, pipelines, and platform interfaces in your existing stack.
04
Document the decisions and establish how the platform will be maintained and improved.
Used when they fit the system you already run. Not as a checklist.
Kubernetes · Terraform · OpenTofu · GitHub Actions · GitLab CI · Argo CD · Backstage, only when a portal is justified
Not necessarily. A portal can improve discovery and access, but it will not repair an inconsistent delivery process. We first establish reliable workflows, then determine whether a portal adds enough value to justify maintaining it.
Yes. We work alongside internal engineers, contributing architecture and implementation capacity where it is needed. Your team remains involved in decisions and retains ownership of the resulting system.
No. Kubernetes may be part of the platform, but it is not a requirement for platform engineering. The supported developer workflow matters more than the runtime underneath it.
Your team. We implement in your systems, document important decisions, and transfer knowledge. Ongoing engineering support is available as a separate engagement.
Releasing software should not require undocumented procedures or fragile pipelines. We improve builds, tests, deployment automation, GitOps, and release workflows so changes move through a clear and repeatable process.
Infrastructure code should make changes safer, not make every apply a high-risk event. We improve Terraform repositories, modules, state management, automated validation, and deployment workflows.
A production cluster needs more than a working deployment. We help with cluster design, upgrades, workload configuration, networking, security, and operations. We also evaluate whether Kubernetes is still the right choice.
Cloud environments need clear boundaries, identity, networking, and operational defaults. We design and improve AWS and GCP foundations that teams can extend without recreating everything for each environment.
Platform assessment
Our Platform & DevOps Assessment examines the infrastructure, delivery process, operational risks, and cloud costs you already have. You receive prioritized findings and a practical 90-day roadmap, including what to fix first, what can wait, and what should be left alone.
